November of 2007 Muriel visited Ghana in Africa. Unfortunately the container she shipped a month before, did not arrive on time so she was not able to utilize the items from it.
Despite the temporary setback she did a lot of teaching in various clinics and moved around observing doctors throughout the hospital and operating room.
She will return in February to ensure the contents of the container reaches the correct destination so she can complete this mission.

The mission of the Muriel Gordon Foundation is to contribute to the improvement of healthcare and enhance the quality of life for poverty-stricken communities throughout the world.
